Guillermo Mendoza is a business development specialist and keynote International speaker; he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences with executive leaders and their teams to expand perspectives by creating consciousness, developing leadership and getting results.
Born in Mexico City and influenced by the work ethics and values from a strong and hard working grandfather and father, he had the amazing opportunity to work for Microsoft in the glory days from 1990 to 2000. Back then Microsoft claimed that one person in Microsoft did the work of 5 in any other company.
His career in Microsoft started in sales and after winning the rookie of the year award he was propelled to become the business developer expanding new operations with subsidiaries in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama before being named General Manager for the Caribbean and Central America region.
Guillermo has taken this once in a lifetime experience and crafted stories, strategies and life lessons that will engage, inspire, inform and influence your success by increasing performance, raising profitability and creating a career life balance. Opening Microsoft in Central America required him to tap into the entrepreneurial spirit that he learned years back from his father: "it doesn't matter if you work as the CEO or as the janitor always work as if you are the owner of the company" these words of wisdom were the foundation of his and Microsoft's success in the region and the beginning of some of his remarkable stories.
